Okay. Purely digital, and (im sure you can tell, but) no setup before drawing, just kinda sketched a 3/4ths profile and went to town on it.
I'm a little uncomfy about the lips, like they're not the right shape...maybe I shoulda jutted the top lip out a little more towards the outside of the face.
Comp wise i'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I havent done a monochrome picture in...well probably 4 years, so this is pretty new for me. I have NEVER shaded a sketch with scribbles/crosshatching when doing pure digital, so thats also a first

This is another piece of Splycer, draenei priest in my Gaia guild. I went on after Rexxar went down for hardware upgrades (yay! but aww.) and was all like 'WHAT DO I DO TIL 11AM'
She suggested I draw her again lol
Shes wearing BT/Sunwell gear so was kinda cool.
last thing: I would REALLY like some critique on this.
Be hardcore, rip it apart. I'm honestly trying to improve myself so anything helps.

Alright, you wanted comments, you get comments lol. don't know how helpful i can be (I'm a writer not a artist) but ill try anyway. OKAY! for starters, i really like the way the cloth bunches up around the horns, it looks like how a garment meant for something with horns would fit. the only problem i have with it is the lips, they seem....crooked? it dosent seem like we are seeing enough of the right side of her face to be seeing that much lip, don't know how correct i am on that, just a observation. i love the way the hair looks, and the shading on the folds of the cloth looks great, although its hard for me to tell what direction the light is coming from. anyway, thats my bit, now on to the rest of your gallery.
